It is part of legal obligations of Employment Agencies (EA) under EALC in Singapore:
- To send the full set of her copy of the In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter to the Foreign Domestic Worker (FDW) ahead of her departure for Singapore.
- The full set of the IPA letter should reach the FDW at least three (3) days prior to her departure for Singapore.
- To ensure that the FDW has received the full set of the IPA letter.
- To keep the records of timely receipt of the In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter by the foreign employee.
- To maintain and keep proper documentation of the steps taken by the EA to ensure the timely receipt.
- To let the foreign employee to keep the In-Principle Approval letter.
