How long after I can submit the application for Work Permit due to error with no arrangement of GIRO to pay levy (FWL)?

When the employer does not have GIRO arrangement to pay the Foreign Worker Levy (FWL) after receipt of reminders or notice with levy bills from MOM, then employer may face this type of error while applying for work pass via WPOL.

The employer needs to fill-up the GIRO Form and send it to MOM.

You can submit the work permit application with MOM only after 7 working days once the GIRO form was posted.

The employer can check the status of GIRO application at mom.gov.sg/levy-giro-status.
