Find out when and how to notify MOM of changes

You will need to notify MOM in these situations:

Annual notification on professional activities and salary

You will need to update MOM annually on your professional activities and annual salary. Information required includes details on your:

Employment
Entrepreneurial activities
Local employees (if any)
Other professional activities (e.g., advisor, mentor to Singapore-based start-ups, served as professor, lecturer, adjunct lecturer in educational institutions in Singapore, and contributed to philanthropic causes).

More details will be provided in 3^rd quarter of 2023 by the MOM .

Change in residential address

As a pass holder, you must log in to EP Online update MOM within 2 weeks of changing your home address.

The address must meet the housing requirements before you can get it updated.

Print the acknowledgment page and keep it with your pass card.

Change in personal particulars

You need to inform MOM of changes in your personal particulars such as passport number, name or marital status.

You can update your passport number and expiry date instantly using EP Online. Written requests to update these two details will not be accepted.

To change the following particulars, you will need to submit your request and upload the relevant supporting documents.

To change	Supporting documents
Name	Pass holder’s passport Documents to verify the change in name, e.g. deed poll, marriage certificate
Nationality/Citizenship	Pass holder’s passport
Date of birth	Pass holder’s passport Birth certificate showing date of birth, country/region of birth and country/region of origin
Marital status	Pass holder’s passport Documents to show the change in marital status, e.g. Marriage certificate or divorce papers
Gender	Pass holder’s passport
Country / Region of birth or origin	Pass holder’s passport Birth certificate showing date of birth, country/region of birth and country/region of origin
Malaysian ID details	Pass holder’s passport Front and back copy of Malaysian identity card

Note:

Your request will be processed within 7 working days and the outcome will be posted to you.
MOM will inform ICA about the changes to passport details. If you wish to clear immigration using the automated gates at the checkpoints, you can do so after 4 working days from making the update.
