Reinstatement of cancelled Work Permit?
Is Reinstatement possible for cancelled Work Permit?
Yes. The Work Permit which was cancelled by mistake can be reinstated with MOMβs approval.
- Use this option only if you have cancelled the Work Permit (WP) of a foreign worker or foreign domestic worker by mistake.
- MOM can only consider your request if the WP has not expired and the worker is still in Singapore.
- MOM will inform you of the outcome within 1 week.
- If the WP is successfully reinstated, your worker can continue to work using the current WP. Levy will be charged from the date the WP was cancelled.
- If rejected, you must send your worker home.
