Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are non-subsidiary, independent firms which employ fewer than a given number of employees.
SME refers to company that are:
- Registered and operate in Singapore;
- Have a minimum of 30 per cent local shareholding; AND
- Companyβs Group annual sales turnover should be not more than S$100 million, OR Companyβs Group employment size should be no more than 200 workers.
