How to cancel Work Permit (WP) for Foreign Domestic Worker (FDW) / Migrant Domestic Worker (MDW) / Maid / Helper?

To cancel the Work Permit while the helper is still in Singapore	1) Log in to WP Online and cancel the Work Permit. 2) Print the Special Pass. 3) The Special Pass allows your helper to legally stay in Singapore before leaving. Give the Special Pass to your helper. 4) The helper must show the Special Pass to the immigration officer when leaving Singapore.
Tip	If you need the helper to work only for a short period beyond the Work Permit expiry date, you can request for a short extension of her permit.
When levyn stops	1 day before cancellation
Dischargen of Security Bond	The security bond will usually be discharged 1 week after your helper’s departure, and other conditions are met.
Youn must ensure your helper leaves as scheduled.

To canceln the Work Permit while the helper has left Singapore	1) Log in to WP Online and cancel the Work Permit. 2) Choose the cancellation reason “My helper or I wish to end this employment or she has gone home and will not be returning”.
Dischargen of Security Bond	The security bond will be discharged within 2 weeks after MOM has verified that the helper has left Singapore.

Once the WorknPermit is cancelled, the helper cannot work, even while waiting to leave Singapore.
Levy will bencharged until 1 day before the cancellation.
