Minimum period of validity of EP or S Pass to apply for LTVP (Long Term Visit Pass)?

There is no minimum period of validity of Employment Pass (EP) or S Pass required in order to apply for LTVP (Long Term Visit Pass). As long as the EP or S Pass is having some sufficient time in order to process the application of LTVP is good enough. Then the EP or S Pass holder can apply for LTVP with short period of validity of the work pass provided that the main pass holder meets up with the required other criteria.

Eg:

• EP or S Pass Expiry: 04-May-2023
• Apply for LTVP on 21-Mar-2023
• Processing duration for DP application: within 3 weeks
• Outcome of DP (latest by): 10-Apr-2023
• Hence, still the EP / S Pass holder can bring the LVTP holder to Singapore
